While there is nothing particularly spectacular about this image it was the spark that ignited this blog. Truth be told I have been meaning to do this for a while now but just needed that push over the edge. This image was that push.
I was going to an appointment with a nutritionist in the city when I ran across this hydrant in front of her office. 26th and Broadway to be exact in NYC. Just an odd site. Even stranger for passer-byers to see a guy in a suit (just came from a client meeting) bending over in a puddle of water to snap a shot of a gushing fire hydrant with his iPhone.
