Pour that baby! I opted to rent a mixer for this one. The thought of mixing 20 bags of cement myself AND pouring them was not attractive. $70 for the rental was WELL worth it. I literally saved a TON of time on this.
LEARNED TIP: Don’t use regular cement for this. Use a Quickcrete 5000 or something similar as the regular stuff does not finish as nicely. I ended up finding a dry grit sandpaper for my random orbital sander. It goes from 60 grit to 3000. Works well for sure but I think a wet sand would be better. Still not sure if it would work on the regular Quickcrete but I think no matter what, it would work better than the dry version.
