Now that outside was shaping up it was time to tackle inside. That means cutting into the gas lines, hot and cold water lines, and drain. Now we are back in my comfort zone for sure. Plumbing and electric are no problem. I thought I would take the time to show Cooper and friends how to sweat pipes.
This project was actually a healthy mix of good old fashioned sweating pipe and using Pex. This was my first Pex adventure and I have to say it was nice. A bit odd from years of copper but man it is quick. It also met my real need which was flexibility through the 4″ PVC chase to the grill itself.
